First leather company in the top 250

Kırcılar Deri, the only leather and fur company to enter the Bursa's 250 Largest Companies list prepared by BTSO, achieved a turnover of over 16 million TL in 2005. Kırcılar Deri Fur and Clothing Industry has a well-deserved reputation in the leather sector, where it has been operating since 1940. Kırcılar Deri, which employs 750 people, produces 100 thousand leather products per year in its 4 thousand square meter facility. Noting that processing all kinds of leather in every season is one of the most important differences with its distinguished leather collection, Kırcılar Board Member Berna Kırcı states that they have been importing and exporting since the 1970s. Kırcılar imports leather varieties such as leather, nubuck, suede, fur-suede, chamois, kid, goat, rabbit, kangaroo and fox from Italy, Spain and Tunisia. It also exports to many countries, especially America and Russia, as well as Italy, France, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, England and Greece. Another feature of Kırcılar Leather Fur and Clothing Industry is that it is the only leather and fur industry company that managed to enter the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 250 Largest Companies list in 2005. As of the end of 2005, the company's turnover exceeded 16 million TL. Approximately half of this turnover consists of export revenues.
